Lots of updates

There are lots of updates below. I fell a little behind and I am slowly catching up! I promise to do better. Thanks to all who read our blog!

Thankful

We were so thankful that we could spend the Thanksgiving holiday with the people who mean the most to us. It may seem like we did a lot of driving but we did it all with good intentions and for self fulfillment! Hope everyone had as a happy of a Thanksgiving as we did.

Thanksgiving Part Three

We spent the second half of Thanksgiving day in Alpharetta at Grandpa and Grandma's. We had a very nice dinner and we were so grateful to spend the day with the entire family since we missed Uncle Jason last year.We ended the night with dessert at some friends of the family and it was nice to be around such a big crowd and celebrate everything we were thankful for. We were supposed to take Christmas card pictures that weekend but the weather was nasty so here below are some pictures of the family we took the next weekend. And we were able to meet Jason's girlfriend, Jesse, and she was such a sweet person!

Thanksgiving Part Two

On Thanksgiving Day we spent lunch with Nana and Gramps and the whole clan. We had great food and good times with everyone and of course we had to try and make the kiddos pose for the PERFECT Christmas card picture with Nana and Gramps.

Thanksgivng Part One

We spent the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at Papa and Rere's with the entire Hunnicutt clan. We had some good food, some great time with the family, and some fun on the four wheeler!

Meeting Uncle Jason!

Jason, Mark's brother, is serving our Country in the U.S. Navy and has been in Guam since Patton's birth so he has only met Patton through pictures. We were so excited when we found out that he was taking leave for 22 days! The day he arrived in Atlanta, Mark's parents picked him up from the airport and then we met them in Anniston for an early dinner at the Mellow Mushroom. It was so nice for Patton to finally meet Uncle Jason! We had a great time catching up with Jason.

Alabama Homecoming Parade

We took Patton to his first Alabama Gameday experience this year! We had a fun filled morning of watching the Homecoming Parade, playing on the Quad, and visiting with all of our friends at Mark's Fraternity house. Then we sent Patton off with Nana so we could go to the game. He had fun and we enjoying showing him off to all of our friends!

New things for Patton

Lately Patton has been sounding out some words, of course all in baby language but we can understand him. He has been saying thank you when he hands you something, look and pointing to what he is talking about, and he can make out duck and dog.

Also, he has started playing peek a boo with his hands over his eyes and you say where's Patton and he will uncover his eyes and laugh. He puts his head down on the ground and acts like he is going to do a forwards roll so I go over and push him over and he lays in the floor laughing for a few minutes. He loves to play hide and go seek behind his changing table in his room. He has really gotten into playing in the dog's water bowl, we have got to stop this one! (oh and one night I caught him playing in the toilet bowl!) He loves the bathtub and screams when he has to get out, even when all of the water has drained out he sits there and freezes but still plays with his toys.

I hope to capture some pictures and videos of all of the precious moments soon and will post them as I can get them but I wanted everyone to know a little of what is going on in Patton's world these days.
