We bought Patton a blow up frog pool today and I blew the whole entire thing up! I thought I was going to pass out but it was worth it so Patton could splash around in the pool. He had so much fun. I went in to get the camera while he and Mark were outside and came back out and Patton had fallen face first in the pool and came up laughing. He definitely loves the water.
So I am a little behind in my updates but back last month, Papa, ReRe and Uncle Tyler were in Birmingham and made a surprise visit to see us. We had a great visit and we went to eat at Johnny Rockets. Patton loved seeing everyone!!!
During Uncle Mike and Aunt Nancy's trip from Florida back to Rochester (in April), they stopped in to see Grandma and Grandpa Bill and made a special trip down to see us. It was such a nice night out so we were able to spend a lot of time outside and we had a wonderful dinner. Patton was so excited to meet Uncle Mike and Aunt Nancy and we sure hope we see them again soon! We had a great time and we were so happy to see them.
We spent Memorial Day in Tuscaloosa at Nana and Gramps' house with Erika, Trent, and their kids, and Robert and Michelle. We had great food and a good time. Patton got in the pool for the first time with his Daddy and then in the baby pool with his Nana. He loves the water and I have a feeling he is going to be a swimmer like his daddy! Now everytime Patton gets in the bath he splashes his arms and feet around! It is impossible to bath him now without getting soaked.
Today Mark put a gate on the deck. Chloe is so excited because she can finally go outside and play without a leash. She loved it!!! Now the only thing left to complete the deck is building the stairs and landscaping. It is slowly but surely coming together!!!!
The 4 yr olds graduated from Canterbury CDC today and to celebrate they had a parade. Patton's class was the first to come out since they are the babies and they wore these little ponchos to show which class they were in. It was so cute but unfortunately the babies were tired and cranky so they didn't really get to involved. Patton was sleepy so he didn't have many smiles on this afternoon but here are some of the shots we were able to get.
Last week Patton's daycare took class pictures. The teachers were so excited because they were able to get all of the babies to look at the camera. Of course they couldn't make all the babies smile but Mr. Patton sure does have a big grin on his face. He is such a happy baby. Let's hope he stays that way!
