Patton's weekend with Sweet Caroline

Mark went on a men's retreat with the church Friday night so Lauren and Caroline came down to stay with Patton and I. Lauren and I had a great time catching up and Patton and Caroline enjoyed playing with one another. Here are some pictures of our weekend:

Moving on to the meats!!!

Now that Patton is 9 months old the doctor suggested we move on to the baby foods that contain meat. Here is how much Patton loves the meat!

Happy 9 Month Birthday, Patton!!

Patton celebrated his 9 month birthday on Friday, July 18th! He spent half the morning at daycare and the rest of the day playing with mommy and Nana and then he played well into the evening with Nana and Gramps while mommy and daddy went to Josh and Jessica's rehearsal dinner. Happy 9 month Birthday, sweet baby boy!

Patton's surgery

Patton had surgery to yesterday to open up his blocked tear duct. We arrived at Children's South at 5:45 a.m. and Patton was taken back around 6:30 and we were home at 9:00. Everything went great and Patton's eye is much better. I will post pictures of before and after tomorrow when I get an updated picture of his new and improved eye. The surgery made a world of difference immediately.

Josh and Jessica's wedding weekend!!!

Our friends, Josh and Jessica, tied the knot this weekend!!! It was a great weekend of celebration and fellowship with very good friends. I kicked off the weekend with the Bridesmaid Luncheon. Jessica had a hat theme and it made for some great pictures and good conversation. The Bridesmaid Luncheon was at the Botanical Gardens where Josh proposed to Jessica exactly a year ago from the day.

Nine Month Stats

Today I took Patton to the dr for his 9 month check up. He will be 9 months on Friday! This is how Patton measured up:

Weight: 19 lbs and 2 oz. (25%)

Height: 27 1/2 inches (10%)

Patton is a little peanut :)

Over the past couple of weeks Patton has started crawling very fast, pulling up on everything daring to let go, saying dada, clapping, throwing toys in the trashcan at daycare, eating a whole lot more of his baby food, and making lots of new noises!!! He is growing up so quick.

4th of July

We went to Alpharetta to visit Grandma and Grandpa Bill for the 4th. Amy and Tara, Mark's cousins, were in town from Rochester so Patton got to meet them! We celebrated the 4th by eating dinner at The Tavern at Phipps and then hanging out for the famous Lenox fireworks show. We had a great time and Patton was very interested in the fireworks. I thought they would scare him but he was completely fine. He is such a good baby.
